Painting edges of cabinet doors and drawers can be a little bit tricky. The reason for this? Well, usually paint seeps underneath the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. But, there are a few tips to avoid this. First by using and everyday item that you can find in the house, an egg carton, you can cut the egg cartons and set the doors or drawer fronts on top of them. When you cut the egg cartons you are going to cut them into little cups. Once the little cups are made out of the egg cartons you place them underneath the cabinet doors to prop or elevate the cabinet doors. This solution works because with the cabinet doors elevated you have access to the underside of the door where you didn’t have access to it before. The best part is this solution is recyclable and reusable.
