When we think about upgrades to our homes, we don’t often think about improving our indoor air quality. It is critical that the home that you live is well ventilated and that fresh air is circulating through the house. Air pollution can come from many factors in the home and it is important to identify those factors and find adequate solutions for those air pollutants. Indoor air pollution can come from dust, pet dander and pollen or it can come from excess moisture from bathing and cooking. Additionally, smoke and fumes that can come from candles or fireplaces can add to the air pollution in the house. In some areas, Radon can be a factor just like harmful compounds released by some cleaners or other products like paint can also add to the air pollution. This can be done either through whole-house ventilation systems or spot ventilation solutions.
