Extension Cords are relevant tools to use when interacting with electrical appliances and it is therefore key for all users to be aware of how to handle electrical extension cords. The following tips should be applied when using extension cords:
- Never use extension cords in snow or any wet surfaces to avoid possible electrocution
- Be careful to read on the extension cord to make sure that you are using the correct power rating for your appliance
- Avoid overloading your extension cord with too many appliances in use at the same time to avoid blowing up your appliances
